{ Coastal Vintage Dresser }

I finally took a second to take a before photo.


This dresser was already painted a peachy beige with a super shiny black top.
I rarely sand before painting, but I did sand the top of this piece because the 
top was so ridiculously shiny and streaky.
I think the precious owner painted polyurethane OVER black paint.
Which never turns out well.
(FYI, I always have a hard time using polyurethane OVER water based paint. Especially dark colors.)
Here's what the top looked like AFTER I sanded it.


This label was on the back of the dresser.
Awesome.


I spray painted the original handles black.
And I LOVE how they contrast with the blue and white.


I sanded the top again once I painted it white.
Adds a lot of texture and character.
